// The partner role

The crew IT firms and integrators deploy without worrying.

When you hand a job to Fusion, it comes back to spec — labeled, tested and documented. No callbacks, no surprises, no scope creep. Copper and PoE are our specialty: clean runs that power and connect the devices your operation depends on. Our technicians are trained, manufacturer-certified, and licensed under the Province of Manitoba.

From single-site installs to multi-location national rollouts, we’re the local hands that execute your project exactly as designed — built to industry standards and documented end to end.

// Services we handle

One contractor for the whole low-voltage layer.

Structured cabling through security — designed, installed, serviced and supported under one roof.

01 / DATA · POE

Structured Cabling & PoE

Our bread and butter. Cat6 and Cat6A copper designed, installed and tested by licensed technicians — plus the PoE backbone that powers your cameras, access points, phones, access control and signage off a single run.

02 / FIBER

Fiber Backbones

When copper hits its 100-metre limit, we run fiber. Building links and backbones, single-mode and multi-mode, mechanically or fusion spliced, terminated and tested.

03 / WIRELESS · WIFI

Wireless & WiFi Networks

WiFi access point design and deployment, point-to-multipoint links, and temporary coverage for events and large venues.

04 / ACCESS · CCTV

Card Access & CCTV

Card access and door-control systems to manage who gets in and when — plus IP surveillance: camera install, service and relocation. Control access, capture what matters.

05 / DEPLOYABLE

Deployable Connectivity

Temporary networks for events, film & TV productions and remote operations — site-wide WiFi, coverage and connectivity rigged where none exists, then struck clean.

06 / DEPLOYMENT

Smart Hands & Device Deployment

Beyond cabling: our technical team deploys your supplied equipment — servers, switches, POS, signage, paging, traffic counters and full wireless systems — staged, configured and rolled out across single or national sites.

// Plus, we also handle:
+ Audio / Video + Testing & Certification + Site Audits & Documentation + Paging Systems + Point-to-Point Wireless
// In the field

Real installs. Real infrastructure.

From a single office drop to a warehouse rack-up to a multi-site national rollout, our work runs through buildings across Manitoba — designed, installed, tested and documented.

We cover the full low-voltage layer for commercial spaces of every kind, working directly or as the local hands behind IT firms, integrators and national clients.

// Deployable connectivity — networks where none exist

When the network has to show up and perform.

Fully managed, monthly equipment rentals — commercial-grade firewalls and connected devices, internet included, set up and torn down by our team. We rig the network where there isn’t one, run it while it matters, and strike it clean — from a frozen festival site, to a Netflix sound stage, to the far north past the edge of cell coverage.

// Common questions

Questions, answered.

What clients and partners ask us most often.

Yes. A large part of our work is acting as the local Smart Hands and deployment partner for national companies, IT firms and integrators who need certified boots on the ground across Manitoba. We also work directly with commercial clients on their own projects — from single sites to multi-location rollouts.
We serve all of Manitoba, with a focus on Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We cover both urban and rural sites, and our fully outfitted tech vans let us mobilize quickly to almost any location in the province — including remote and northern sites for deployable connectivity work.
We handle the full low-voltage layer: structured copper cabling and PoE, fiber backbones, wireless networks, security and CCTV, deployable connectivity for events and productions, and Smart Hands device deployment. We also provide audio/video, testing and certification, site audits, paging and point-to-point wireless.
Yes. Fusion Cabling is licensed in the Province of Manitoba, WCB-covered and fully insured. Our technicians are manufacturer-certified, and installs are tested and documented to industry standards — with Fluke certification provided as required or requested, and backed by manufacturer warranty.
Reach out with the details of your project — what you're building, renovating, relocating or maintaining — and we'll prepare a quote with a clear scope and price. On-site assessments are arranged where the project calls for it. The more detail you can share up front, the faster and more accurate the quote.
Yes. Our Deployable Connectivity service provides fully managed, monthly equipment rentals — commercial-grade firewalls and connected devices with internet included, set up and torn down by our team. We've delivered site-wide coverage for festivals, film and TV productions, and remote operations beyond cell range.
Cat6 and Cat6A are both copper data cabling standards. Cat6 reliably handles 1 Gigabit speeds and supports 10 Gigabit over shorter runs, which suits most offices and standard installs. Cat6A is built for full 10 Gigabit performance across the entire 100-metre run, with better shielding against interference — the right choice for data-heavy environments, future-proofing, or longer cable paths. We help you choose the right standard for your space and budget rather than over- or under-building.
It comes down to distance and bandwidth. Copper (Cat6/Cat6A) is the workhorse for connecting devices within a building — it carries data and power (PoE) over runs up to 100 metres and covers the vast majority of commercial needs. Fiber takes over when you need to span longer distances, link buildings, or move very high bandwidth between network cores. Most projects use copper throughout with fiber for the backbone. We design the right mix for your site.
Yes. We work across all commercial environments — offices, retail spaces, warehouses and industrial sites, buildouts and renovations, and multi-dwelling or multi-tenant (MDU) buildings. Each space has different demands, from open warehouse runs to tenant-by-tenant MDU work, and our fully outfitted tech vans let us handle almost any job on site.
Turnaround depends on the scope, but speed is one of our priorities — we pride ourselves on being responsive and quick to mobilize. Whether it's an urgent service call, a national-client deployment or a planned buildout, tell us your timeline and we'll work to meet it. Our outfitted vans and broad in-house capabilities mean we don't lose time waiting on outside trades.
Cost depends entirely on scope — the number of drops, cable type, building layout, distances, and what systems are involved. Rather than guess, we prepare a clear, itemized quote once we understand the project: tell us what you're building, renovating or maintaining and we'll scope it properly. We sit at a quality-first tier while staying very competitive, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
